Andy’s Foundation
The Andy’s Foundation began as an outgrowth of our commitment to community involvement. Understanding that Andy’s has been blessed by being involved in communities all over North Carolina, we needed a way to focus the efforts of the Andy’s stores to give back to our many communities and beyond our own backyards.
Andy’s began a golf tournament in 2000 for the purpose of supporting specific charities. After several successful years, Kenny Moore, CEO and President of Andy’s, Inc., decided to establish a foundation to better serve a larger number of charities within the operational area of Andy’s. It made its first contribution in November of 2006 and will continue to make grants on a quarterly basis.
The Andy’s Foundation is looking forward to impacting our communities in a powerful positive way, and we’d love for you to join us!
Grant applications
Andy’s Charitable Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Preference is given to organizations located within the Andy’s service area that specialise in helping families and youth.
Grant applications should be submitted prior to the 15th of January, April, July and September.
Each application must include:
- Description of population served and service offered
- Copy of 501(c)3 status and tax exempt letter
- Copy of current budget and sources of funding
- Use of funds
- List of board members and staff
- Brief history of the organization
