Andy’s Foundation Golf Classic

Last year we raised over $125,000.00 for the Andy’s Foundation. We would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for their generosity, the players who made each day so interesting, and our many volunteers who helped make this the best golf tournament in eastern North Carolina.
What We’re About
The Andy’s Golf Tournament has been an annual event since 2001. This year’s 2-day event held at the beautiful Southern Wayne Country Club, in Mount Olive, North Carolina, consists of 108 teams playing 36 holes of golf. Each two-man team will play a round of Best Ball on Saturday and Super Ball on Sunday. For directions to the event click here.
HISTORY
Andy's Cheesesteaks & Cheeseburgers, Inc. began a golf tournament in 2000 for the purpose of supporting specific charities. After several successful years, Kenny Moore, CEO and President of Andy's, decided to establish a foundation to better serve a larger number of charities within the operational area of Andy's.
The Andy's Charitable Foundation, Inc. was chartered as a 501(C)3 corporation in June, 2006, with a mission to serve the common good of all people in our hometowns. It made its first contributions in November of 2006 and will continue to make grants on a quarterly basis.
GRANT APPLICATIONS
Andy's Charitable Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Preference is given to organizations located within the Andy's Burgers, Shakes & Fries service area that specialize in helping families and youth.
Grant applications should be submitted prior to the 15th of January, April, July, and September.
They must include:
Description of population served and service offered.
Copy of 501(C)3 status and tax exempt letter.
Copy of current budget and sources of funding.
Use of funds.
List of board members and staff.
Brief history of the organization.
